We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor who wants to manage a team of Electromechanical Specialists involved in completing repairs and PMI updates daily to ensure timely completion of work, reporting directly to the Facility Manager in Spain.\nThe successful candidate will be based in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda (Barcelona) and will provide maintenance support and coordination across our facilities in Barcelona and Madrid. In addition, this position assists in conducting facility inspections and identifying operational improvements needed to promote warehouse efficiency and ensure that health and safety procedures are respected.\nWhat you’ll do\nAssists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping.\nOrganize and manage external contractors in carrying out ordinary and extraordinary on-site maintenance operations.\nManage, supervise and effectively roll out UPS preventive and corrective maintenance plans through the maintenance application system, carrying out activities such as KPI definition, analysis, control and continuous improvement.\nContinuously improve our 360° maintenance activities by evaluating external contractors and identifying the best technical and cost-effective service providers.\nInnovatively update continuous improvement plans to advance predictive and preventive maintenance processes.\nCoordinate all facility management activities affecting the management of our main buildings and related services.\nProvide maintenance oversight and support for operations in both Barcelona and Madrid facilities, ensuring consistency of maintenance standards and compliance across sites.\nCommunicate assigned work status to colleagues to determine potential impact on the department's schedule.\nAssist with maintaining environmental compliance in accordance with UPS environmental programs (e.g., Storm Water, Clean Air, Hazardous Materials, etc.) to promote the environment and the health and safety of UPS employees and the surrounding community.\nDeliver required regulatory training (e.g., Lockout Training, HazMat Training) to Maintenance and non-Maintenance personnel as directed.\nManage documentation, SOP editing and record review.\nWhat you’ll get\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nExcellent onboarding and ongoing training.\nPlenty of opportunities to progress and grow thanks to our promotion-from-within policy.\nWhat you’ll need\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or similar STEM studies).\nAt least 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within complex production environments operating under GDP, GMP and advanced quality systems.\nMinimum 3 years of experience leading internal and external maintenance teams and managing vendor relationships.\nStrong technical knowledge in areas such as low-voltage electricity, industrial refrigeration systems with fluorinated gases, mechanics, electromechanics, HVAC systems, automation and related disciplines.\nExperience with CMMS/GMAO systems and a fluorinated gas handler license are preferred.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.\nGood oral and written English communication skills (minimum B2 level).\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel and Outlook.\nAvailability to travel regularly between Barcelona and Madrid sites as required.\nHow we recruit\nEqual opportunities, fair treatment, and an inclusive work environment are of utmost importance.\nWe are committed to a policy of treating individuals fairly and recruiting, selecting, training, promoting and compensating based on merit, experience and other work-related criteria.
