The incumbent collaborates with other teams to maintain communication with key clients and ensures operational execution of customer requirements. This position identifies ways to improve service and implements continuous improvement projects. The incumbent leverages detailed knowledge of the customs brokerage and clearance process and engages others to maintain and grow customs brokerage revenue. This position facilitates activities (e. g., brainstorming sessions, implementation of corrective action plans, etc.) to reduce churn and identify opportunities to expand customer relationships.\nJob Type: Full-Time / Permanent\nWorkdays: This position is expected to work at least five (5) consecutive days per week.\nShift Hours: This position requires Full-Time availability during operational days.\nWork Location: Remote (base in Canada)\nKey Responsibilities and Duties\nSupports Primary Sales / Operations with customs brokerage customer accounts, revenue retention, and churn reduction to maintain revenue levels. \nProvides customs brokerage product expertise and input during solution development, contract negotiation, statement of work, and pricing agreement to maintain competitiveness and profitability. \nParticipates in customer meetings and quarterly business reviews to provide leadership and strategic vision as related to customs brokerage impact on long-term partnerships. \nEnsures standard operating procedures and key performance indicators are managed effectively to meet UPS goals and to ensure customer satisfaction. \nAdvises customers on supply chain improvement opportunities and works collaboratively with other teams to develop solutions which reinforce the UPS value-added proposition. \nAssists others to ensure UPS meets client customs brokerage performance goals and expectations while minimizing negative impacts to other departments. \nGathers and shares customs brokerage customer service best practices. \nReviews customs brokerage service standards with customers to reach agreement on service levels and to retain business and manage organic growth. \nProvides excellent customs brokerage service to increase customer satisfaction. \nCoordinates with other teams to conduct business and customer review meetings. \nRequirements\nMinimum 5 years of experience in customs operations and business development within the transportation and logistics industry - Required\nProficiency in French and English (written and spoken) - Required (regular interactions with clients inside Quebec - 30%)\nCustoms Specialist (CCS) certification - Preferred \nBachelor's degree or International equivalent - Preferred \nExpenses/Working Conditions\nAdhere to the company’s Appearance Guidelines. \nCompensation and Benefits\nVision, health, and dental benefits after three months of service. \nOvertime. \nWeekly Pay/ Direct Deposit- Every Friday. \nImmediate access to UPS ‘Employee Discounts’ upon hiring. \nPaid training. \nPension Plan. \nFree Onsite Parking. \nOpportunity for advancement within a Fortune 50 Company. \nUPS is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.
