This position assists with dispatching BaSE Mechanics to complete necessary conveyor system repairs and Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs). This position monitors status of repairs and PMI updates daily to ensure timely completion of work. This position assists conducting facility inspections and identifying operational improvements needed to promote efficiency of package flow and safety.\nAdditional Information:\nMust be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required (not remote)\nLocation: CASDI, 7925 Ronson Rd, San Diego, CA 92111\nJob Level: Supervisor\nWork Schedule: M-F, To be determined\nInternal applicants must apply by end of day Thursday, 11/5/26\nResponsibilities:\nAssists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping.\nAssists with identifying and scheduling necessary repairs and preventative maintenance using BaSE mechanics and outside vendors to maintain the condition of the facility.\nCommunicates assigned work status to colleagues to determine potential impact on the department's schedule.\nAssists with maintaining environmental compliance in accordance with UPS environmental programs (e.g., Storm Water, Clean Air, Hazardous Materials, etc.) to promote the environment and health and safety of UPS workers and the surrounding community.\nDelivers required regulatory training (e.g., Lockout Training/Hazmat Training) as directed, to BaSE and non-BaSE personnel.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering - Preferred\nProgramming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting - Preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and simple diagrams\nAvailability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per weekd\nEmployee Type:\nPermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\nOther Criteria:\nUPS is an equal opportunity employer. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,728.00/year to $171,228.00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
