As a core member of the product team, this role translates business workflows into clear technical requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria. The analyst also functions as a proxy product owner and subject matter expert, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. A strong foundation in requirements engineering, process modeling, Agile practices, and data analysis is essential.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nRequirements & Product Analysis\nTranslate business processes, goals, and terminology into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nAct as a proxy product owner for designated business domains, offering functional expertise and guidance.\nCollaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and refine product requirements.\nManage and prioritize product backlog items in Azure DevOps based on business value, dependencies, and stakeholder inputs.\nPrepare communications, presentations, and documentation on system enhancements, alternatives, and recommended solutions.\nProcess & Data Analysis\nAnalyze business workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and automation.\nValidate, interpret, and analyze data from Mainframe environments, DB2 databases, and SQL queries to support decision-making.\nContribute to building business cases by gathering data, identifying issues, and documenting components under senior guidance.\nAgile Delivery & Project Support\nSupport Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.\nDevelop schedules of tasks based on overarching project timelines and keep stakeholders informed on progress.\nParticipate in system testing, UAT, and production validation to ensure solution accuracy and quality.\nWork independently on projects of low to moderate complexity and with minimal supervision on more complex initiatives.\nStakeholder Engagement\nBuild, maintain, and enhance strong relationships with business partners through active listening, consistent communication, and accountability.\nUnderstand stakeholder needs and expectations to deliver clear, value-driven solutions.\nDemonstrate trust, influence, and adaptability to meet evolving business requirements.\nReporting & Documentation\nCreate business and functional requirement documents, process flows, guidelines, and technical communication materials.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics using Microsoft Office tools to track product performance and project progress.\nSeek relevant information to ensure clarity and accuracy of technical communication tailored to different audience groups.\nContinuous Improvement & Strategy Execution\nApply an understanding of financial, ROI, and market principles to support strategy development.\nIdentify inefficiencies within work processes and apply innovative ideas or established tools to improve outcomes.\nContinuously pursue opportunities for system, workflow, and product improvements.\nQualifications & Skills\nProven experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role (5-8 years preferred).\nStrong knowledge of Azure DevOps for managing requirements and product backlogs.\nExperience with Mainframe systems, DB2 databases, SQL, and data validation.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and cross-functional team collaboration.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).\nExposure to PL/SQL, EDI Mapping, enterprise integration, and data flows across legacy and modern platforms.\nCore competencies: requirements elicitation, process modeling, workshop facilitation, and analytical thinking.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management ability.\nHigh attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and a problem-solving mindset.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business
