This position leverages data to gain key insight into business opportunities, and effectively presents these insights to business stakeholders. This position participates in the creation, distribution, and delivery of analytics reports, tables, graphs, and communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDesigns, develops, and maintains reports and analytical tools and performs ongoing data quality monitoring and refinement.\nIdentifies and analyzes errors and inconsistencies in the data and provides timely resolutions.\nTranslates data results into written reports, tables, graphs, and charts to convey information to management and clients.\nCreates ad hoc reports and views on a frequent basis to assist management in understanding, researching, and analyzing issues.\nUses data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.\nOrganizes and transforms information into comprehensible structures.\nUses data to predict trends in the customer base and consumer populations and performs statistical analysis of data.\nIdentifies and recommends new ways to support budgets by streamlining business processes. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements:\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nProven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.\nAble and willing to collaborate in a team environment and exercise independent judgement.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to form good partner relationships across functions.\nIntermediate knowledge of SQL and tools that leverage SQL language\nDemonstrated experience in writing software requirements and test specifications, as well as using data to drive business decisions.\nBachelor’s degree, international equivalent, or at least 3 years of relevant UPS experience.
