The role ensures performance goals are met, maintains inventory accuracy, adheres to quality standards, and effectively manages staff. It oversees employees responsible for inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow activities. Additionally, this position manages operational efficiency and ensures the timely completion of work in the assigned operational area.\nJob Type: Full-Time / Permanent /On-Site\nWorkdays: These positions are expected to work at least five (5) consecutive days per week.\nShift Option 1: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM\nShift Option 2: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM\nShift Option 3: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM\nShift Duration: These positions requires Full-Time availability during operational days (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time).\nWork Location: 4150 MAINWAY BURLINGTON, ON L7L 0A6\n Key Responsibilities and Duties\nEnsure proper flow of goods into and out of the warehouse. \nSchedule and allocate work to employees to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently. \nManage and establish working relationships with vendors (e.g., suppliers, consultants, contractors). \nParticipate in customer meetings. \nLeverage customer knowledge to identify new business development opportunities. \nManage budgets and apply accounting processes; determine required resources, allocate funds, monitor expenditures against budget targets, and resolve discrepancies. \nEnsure returns are checked and restocked. \nInvestigate and resolve shipment discrepancies. \nMaintain employee attendance records. \nEnsure compliance with employment standards legislation. \nParticipate in improving warehouse operational efficiency and oversee warehouse housekeeping (e.g., safety, security, equipment maintenance, layout, stocking, and inventory control of warehouse materials). \nRequirements\n1 to 2 years of warehouse related experience - Required \nManagement experience - Required \nIntermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office - Required \nStrong knowledge of health and safety regulations and workers’ compensation processes. \nStrong knowledge of legal, regulatory, and safety compliance requirements to effectively reduce organizational risk. \nStrong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles related to the manufacturing, movement, and distribution of products. \nPrevious experience in a technology-based radio frequency environment - Preferred \nBachelor's degree or International equivalent - Preferred\nLogistics certification (CPIM) - Preferred\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment. \nProblem-solving and multitask skills \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nThe rate of pay for the successful candidate will range from $82.704,00/year to $99.176,40/year.UPS is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.
