If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.\nJob Description:\nThe Mechanic 1st Class is responsible for the upkeep and repair of a wide array of equipment, such as delivery vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers sourced from different manufacturers. They specialize in diagnosing and fixing issues with hydraulic brakes, transmissions, air brakes, electronic systems, and engines. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.\nResponsibilities:\nRepairs diesel, CNG's and gas vehicles.\nOperates standard and manual transmission \nOperates power and pneumatic tools \nEnsures all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner. \n Qualifications:\nAbility to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs. \nMust be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday as well as Tuesday through Saturday schedules, depending on the location’s needs.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and occasionally outdoors \nMust possess the required hand tools required to perform the applicable job assignment.\nClass A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Preferred\nMeets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment \nASE certifications- Preferred \nBends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday \nOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $40.05 per hour.
