The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in manual testing, a deep understanding of software testing principles, and hands-on experience working with ETL processes, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports. Exposure to test automation is a plus but not a core requirement.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute manual test cases based on requirements, data mappings, and system flows. \nPerform ETL testing including: Source-to-target mapping validation \nData transformation and data quality checks \nValidation of SSIS workflows, jobs, and stored procedures \n\nTest SSRS reports for accuracy, layout, filters, and performance. \nConduct database testing using complex SQL queries for data verification. \nEnsure comprehensive test coverage including functional, regression, smoke, and database testing. \nCollaborating with developers, data engineers, BI teams, product owners, and QA leads to ensure end-to-end data quality. \nConduct root cause analysis and propose preventive measures for recurring issues. \nContinuously evaluate and recommend tools, techniques, and improvements for ETL and data testing processes. \nParticipate in designing or supporting automated test scripts for ETL, web, or API testing if required. \nRequired Skills & Experience\n4-8 years of experience in ETL testing and database testing. \nStrong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting. \nHands-on experience with SSIS (ETL packages) and SSRS (reporting). \nUnderstanding data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows. \nExperience testing stored procedures, SQL jobs, and data integrations. \nFamiliarity with REST API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate). \nExposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins). \nKnowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr). \nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). \nExperience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or API automation frameworks is a plus. \nSoft Skills\nStrong
