In addition to learning about the business, participants will also have the opportunity to enhance their leadership competencies including, but not limited to: business acumen, data analytics, coaching and development, partnership and written and verbal communication.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nExecute risk-based audit projects across financial, operational, and/or technology domains\nPerform procedures across all phases of an internal audit, including planning, evaluation, and reporting\nEvaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls\nIdentify control gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve business processes and controls\nPrepare clear, concise, and well-supported audit documentation and audit findings\nCommunicate observations and recommendations effectively to management\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, validate issues, and support remediation efforts\nUtilize data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance audit quality and efficiency\nDomiciled in the Atlanta, Georgia area with the ability to report to office 3 days per week (In-Person) \nKnowledge and Skills\nDemonstrates the ability to problem-solve\nPossesses critical analysis skills\nExcellent interpersonal and persuasive skills\nPossesses strong written and verbal communication skills\nExperience with data analytics/AI tools - Preferred\nEmployee Type:\nInternUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\nOther Criteria:\nUPS is an equal opportunity employer.
