This position uses discipline specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to assist with various projects, presentations, and business improvement opportunities. This position performs other career related responsibilities as assigned.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nConducts research and analyzes workforce and labor-related data to identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement. \nDevelops recommendations and potential solutions to address a real-world labor and employee relations business need. \nApplies established procedures while building knowledge of labor relations practices and processes. \nBuilds collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, operations, and labor relations partners, in support of project responsibilities. \nParticipates in training and development opportunities to strengthen knowledge of labor relations, HR practices, and the business. \nMeets with mentors and HR, and Labor Relations professionals to gain career guidance and exposure to opportunities within the organization. \nPromotes diversity of thought, experience, perspectives, and ideas when evaluating workplace challenges and developing recommendations. \nKnowledge and Skills\nAbility to convey a positive and professional presence with all stakeholders \nExhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills \nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities \nDemonstrates effective research tactics and organizational skills \nDemonstrates project management skills \nProficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) \nOpen to feedback and self-development \nAbility to maintain high standards of confidentiality \nAbility to analyze workforce data and experience with data visualization preferred (or willingness to learn) \nMaintains commitment to continuous learning and professional development \nBasic Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a graduate program or anticipated graduation date by December 2027 or recent master graduate with coursework in Industrial and Labor Relations, Employment Relations, Employment Law, Organizational Behavior, Labor Economics or related field. \nMust be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer. \nMust be willing and available to work in or relocate to the UPS Corporate Office in Atlanta for the duration of the internship. \nEmployee Type:\nInternUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\nOther Criteria:\nUPS is an equal opportunity employer.
