If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.\nJob Description:\nThis position is responsible for supervising the daily performance of service providers to ensure quality service, improve performance, and maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements. The incumbent encourages sales lead participation by maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships, responding to customer concerns, identifying business development opportunities, and creating a customer-focused work environment.\nThe incumbent must be DOT-certified and have UPS Package Car driving experience in order to develop and maintain effective operational performance with service providers and other hourly employees as needed.\nResponsibilities\nManage and work with on-road employees to maximize efficiency and ensure packages are delivered safely, timely, and professionally.\nUse the Balanced Scorecard and Quality Improvement Process to track performance against goals.\nFacilitate execution of the daily dispatch plan.\nComplete on-road supervision and audit rides.\nMaintain operational performance by developing and implementing effective work process plans.\nTroubleshoot service inefficiencies and identify process improvements.\nReview work processes and schedules while monitoring costs against budget.\nApply company policies and procedures to operational situations and business needs.\nParticipate in the development and implementation of work process plans to maximize center proficiency and achieve business results.\nEnsure implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive health and safety program.\nConduct risk management and safety compliance audits.\nApply knowledge of company structure and operations to resolve problems, make decisions, and achieve business objectives.\nMaintain employee safety training records and certifications.\nApply workforce planning principles to evaluate labor markets and develop talent attraction strategies.\nIdentify employee training needs and support continuous development plans.\nProvide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to employees.\nConduct performance evaluations and address individual and team performance issues.\nFoster a collaborative work environment through effective communication and relationship building.\nApply legal, regulatory, and safety compliance knowledge to minimize organizational risk.\nAssess, identify, measure, and monitor customer and business needs, trends, and opportunities.\nCoach and develop employees using career development processes and tools.\nBasic Qualifications\nMust be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.\nEmployer will not sponsor visas for this position now or in the future.\nMust be currently located in the same geographic area as the position or willing to self-relocate.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nMust have previous UPS Package Car driving experience.\nAbility to lift up to 70 lbs.
