The employee procures products and services at the highest quality and best rate. This position helps define requirements to meet global business needs. The employee may supervise others within the department.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinates and reviews competitive bid quotations, evaluates pricing for inclusion in cost proposals, and contacts suppliers to negotiate or conduct reverse auctions to ensure the bid process is followed by Procurement Analysis.\nAnalyzes the Total Cost of Ownership to determine the most desirable method of purchase.\nOversees response to calls and requests from internal customers.\nResolves procurement requests, issues, and inquiries (e.g., corrects proposals, obtains resources, quotations, competitive bids, etc.) to support customer needs.\nAssesses and validates customer needs and expectations to ensure that the right products or services are delivered on time and at the right price.\nInterprets contract provisions to monitor the contract incentive process.\nOversees contract maintenance and reviews contracts to evaluate revisions, pricing, and performance.\nIdentifies contract amendments and addenda as necessary and communicates recommendations to management.\nDetermines employees' training needs and supports continuous development plans.\nProvides ongoing feedback and support to improve performance.\nQualifications:\nExperience negotiating service agreements.\n3-5 years of procurement experience or equivalent.\nFluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required.\nSupervisory experience preferred.\nExperience with sourcing systems preferred.\nAt least six months employment track at current position in UPS.\nBenefits:\nStable employment based on an employment contract \nSocial benefit package (including sport package, life insurance, health care, pension scheme, co-financing of corrective glasses, additional social benefits) \nWellbeing program -
