This position sorts calls and breakdowns and expedites their completion. This position provides information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete required repairs to resolve breakdown situations. This position assists in solving the daily problems inherent in keeping the conveyors and automation systems in good working order.\nResponsibilities:\nAddresses inquiries and needs from internal customers\n\nReacts promptly to facility alarms and emergency situations\n\nIdentifies and resolves issues as they occur\n\nConducts routine maintenance to prevent potential problems\n\nRequirements:\nMust be able to work a 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift\n\nMust be able to reside within the job location or willing to relocate on own\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification from an international institution - preferred\n\nExperience in programming, troubleshooting, basic network knowledge, motor control theory, and operations, including fundamental AC and DC electrical troubleshooting - preferred\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nCapable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and basic diagrams.\n\nEmployee Type:\nSeasonal (Seasonal)UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.\nOther Criteria:\nUPS is an equal opportunity employer.
