Will properly diagnose and perform necessary repairs to non-power equipment, including air brake systems and electrical systems.\nIdeal candidate will possess the following:\nCurrent documented trailer or automotive mechanic experience. Trailer repair experience, dealership environments and/or fleet maintenance environments.\nExperience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer \nPossess a full complement of personal hand tools \nRequirements:\nMust be 21yrs of age or older\nMust have a valid driver’s license - issued by the state\nMust have standard tools\nMust have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience: tractor, trailers, brakes, tires, bodywork, welding, non-power.\nMust be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift, Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.\nCDL Class A or B - Preferred\nResponsibilities & Duties:\nMeet D.O.T requirements \nBend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, stand, walk, and turn/pivot frequently throughout the duration of the workday \nReport to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basis \nAbility to work varying shifts, additional hours and/or overtime depending on service needs \nSitting required infrequently throughout the duration of the workday \nLift, lower, push, pull, leverage and manipulate equipment and/or packages weighing up to 70 pounds \nAssist in moving packages or equipment up to 150 pounds \nSimple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks \nOperate standard/manual transmission \nOperate power, pneumatic tools \nRequired to wear personal protective equipment \nWork in an environment with variable temperatures and humidity (climatic conditions), exposure to cleaning materials, petroleum products, dust, dirt, and noise, outside inclement weather \nHave a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.\nOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay rate for this position is$39.04 per hour with a 120 days progression to top pay $40.04.
