All work is performed in a warehouse setting. This is a general labor type job that requires unloading packages out of trailers and then loading the packages into the UPS trucks based on the final destination city/postal code.\nThis is a permanent part-time opportunity that offers:\nFull benefits\nTraining and career development\nGuaranteed wage progression\nSteady work schedule\nResponsibilities:\nLearns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.\nLoads and unloads UPS packages into/out of trailers. \nScan and sort packages\nQualifications:\nNo experience necessary - on the job training provided!\nAble to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.\nAble to lift up to 70lbs. \nShift:\nMonday to Friday (5 days a week)\n6:00 PM to 9:30 PM (approx.)\nFlexibility with start and finish times during high volume\nCompensation:\n$18 / per hour (paid weekly - every Friday via direct deposit)\nGuaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement - $28.71 per hour after seniority plus 48 months of service\nHealth, dental, and vision care benefits after 1 year\nEmployee discounts\nPromotion from within - career training and development\nEAP - employee assistance program\nGreat teamwork environment!\nExpenses:\nMonthly union due\nOne time union initiation fee deducted after 90 days worked.\nCriminal background record check\nUPS is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.
