You may rotate between driving and warehouse duties-sometimes week to week, and other times spending extended periods in one role before transitioning to the other.\nIf being outside, hitting the road, and keeping active sound like your kind of day-this job is for you!\nPlease Note: This is a seasonal position; schedules may vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.\nCover Driver Responsibilities\nTypically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday depending on operational needs \nSafely operate UPS package delivery vehicles \nDeliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service \nWork independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations \nMeet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements \nOccasionally, you may work inside the facility as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker\nTypically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday \nSort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment \nReport on the assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver \nWhat you’ll need:\nAbility to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs. \nStamina - this is a workout like no other! \nValid driver’s license-no CDL required (License type varies by state - proof required to qualify for the position) \nSatisfactory driving history \nPass the DOT physical \nPass a UPS driver test \nExcellent customer contact and driving skills \nStamina - this is a workout like no other! \nCover drivers are expected to comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform \nAuthorized to work in the U.S. \nAdditional Benefits:\nExcellent weekly pay \nPotential future career opportunities with UPS*\n*This is a seasonal role.
