Android Developer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, etc. ).
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience working with Jetpack components, Coroutines, LiveData, and ViewModel.
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Retrofit, Glide, Room, etc. ).
• Familiarity with MVVM/MVI architecture.
• Proficient understanding of Git and version control.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and memory management.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in publishing apps on the Play Store.
• Exposure to Jetpack Compose is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices in mobile development.
• Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
