support ongoing development \nMechanical Engineering (Primary Focus)\n Own mechanical design execution across modular systems, enclosures, and industrial structures \n Review and approve designs for accuracy and manufacturability \n Ensure proper application of materials, tolerances, and fabrication methods \n Drive design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) best practices \n Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to align designs with build strategies \nElectrical Engineering Oversight\n Provide leadership and oversight for electrical engineering deliverables \n Ensure clean integration between electrical systems and mechanical layouts \n Review schematics, layouts, and documentation for completeness and consistency \n Coordinate and resolve mechanical-electrical interface challenges \nStandards, Quality & Governance\n Establish and enforce engineering standards, templates, and best practices \n Ensure consistent use of CAD tools, drawing standards, and revision control \n Maintain quality control across engineering output from LATAM teams \n Support engineering change management and design revisions \nCross-Functional Collaboration\n Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program teams \n Translate project requirements into clear engineering work packages \n Support project timelines, milestones, and risk identification \n Act as a technical escalation point for complex design challenges \nGlobal Team Execution\n Manage distributed teams across time zones with clear communication and structure \n Ensure alignment between stakeholders and LATAM engineering execution \n Drive accountability without micromanagement \n Build repeatable workflows for offshore engineering support \nTechnical Review & Risk Management\n Review complex designs for technical risk, cost drivers, and manufacturability concerns \n Identify issues early and drive corrective action \n Ensure designs meet compliance, safety, and customer requirements \nRequirements\nMust-Have\n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline \n 10+ years of experience in industrial, modular, or engineered-to-order environments \n 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams \n Strong mechanical engineering background with design experience \n Experience managing remote or distributed teams \n Ability to review and approve mechanical and electrical designs \n Strong communication and technical leadership skills \nNice-to-Have\n Experience with modular systems, enclosures, or industrial equipment \n Experience working with CAD teams and drafting resources \n Familiarity with SolidWorks and SolidWorks Electrical \n Experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems \n
