This role will focus on integrating high-impact chilled-water and cooling-plant systems that help improve data center capacity, energy efficiency, resiliency, and grid stability.\nWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer with strong HVAC, hydronic, and chilled-water expertise to lead mechanical integration projects from design through commissioning across the United States.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead the mechanical design and integration of thermal energy storage and chilled-water systems.\nDevelop and review P&IDs, hydronic piping layouts, equipment arrangements, valve schedules, and controls integration interfaces.\nPerform hydraulic and pipe-stress analyses and support code-compliant engineering documentation.\nIntegrate systems with chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumps, and BAS/BMS platforms.\nCollaborate with data center operators, MEP firms, contractors, design engineers, controls integrators, and commissioning teams.\nSupport site surveys, startup, commissioning, and functional testing activities.\nProvide technical input for presales efforts, proposals, and RFP responses.\nCreate or apply automation tools, such as Python or Excel/VBA, to improve engineering analyses and documentation.\nPartner with global R&D and product teams to refine system designs and deployment methods.\nMentor junior engineers as the engineering team expands.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.\n5+ years of experience in HVAC, chilled-water systems, or energy infrastructure.\nStrong knowledge of hydronic systems, thermodynamics, cooling plants, and BAS/BMS integration.\nExperience coordinating work across mechanical, controls, and electrical disciplines.\nProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, or similar design tools.\nFamiliarity with commissioning, startup, and field-execution processes.\nAbility to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
