We fuse a robust academic curriculum with sports-based youth development, ensuring our graduates receive a diploma, a stepping stone for higher education, and essential job skills.\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAnalyze school wide data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis\nIn collaboration with the Family Engagement Coordinator, engage and provide support to families and students that need assistance with getting their children to school\nConduct daily outreach via phone calls and home visits\nSchedule parent meetings\nLead Attendance Task Force\nCollaborate with homeroom teams to increase student attendance\nAssist in compiling student records (birth certificates, transfers, immunizations) for meeting state requirements\nMaintain a variety of attendance records, schedules, and files for the purpose of documenting and/or providing reliable information\nPerform enrollment and un-enrollment activities\nConsult and collaborate with teachers regarding student behavior plans, goals, and objectives\nPrepare a variety of reports\nRespond to inquiries from a variety of individuals\nInvestigate students who leave the district without verification\nMake referrals to outside prevention agencies\nFollow up with families of students who have been expelled and assist with finding new placement as needed\nMaintain and update the LTA list\nServe as a mentor for a small group of students\nWork evenings and weekends as needed\nMust have valid driver’s license and be willing to drive on occasion\nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree\nExperience in schools preferred\nTransfer School experience a plus\nValid Driver License\nBilingual Preferred\nDemonstrated ability to “multi-task” and deliver high quality work\nDesire to devise programming to address the unique needs of our population\nCommitment to the UD Team mission and core values of Teamwork, Leadership, and Communication\nCommitment to the use of restorative practices and a strength-based, youth development approach to student issues\nAbility to function well as part of a team and work independently\nMust be team-oriented, with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a passion for serving at-risk youth, and a sense of humor\nCompensation: $45,760 to $50,000 annually based on years of experience and education.\nBenefits: Urban Dove provides a robust benefits package designed to support employee well-being, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; retirement benefits with employer match; generous paid time off; paid parental leave; and employee wellness supports\nOUR MISSION:\nUrban Dove energizes, educates, and empowers young people through our network of UD Team Charter Schools serving over-age/under-credited high school students.
