You will play a key role in shaping the user experience for data-heavy products, translating complex datasets into intuitive, high-performance interfaces.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain complex front-end applications using React\nCreate accessible, responsive UI components using Chakra UI\nImplement interactive map-based experiences using Mapbox GL JS\nBuild interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Plotly and ApexCharts\nOptimize performance for large datasets, maps, and real-time updates\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver features\nEstablish and enforce front-end best practices (architecture, testing, accessibility, performance)\nLead code reviews and mentor other engineers\nContribute to technical planning and architectural decisions\nEnsure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of professional front-end development experience\nStrong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript\nDeep experience with React and modern React patterns (hooks, context, memoization)\nProduction experience with Chakra UI or similar component libraries\nHands-on experience with Mapbox (layers, sources, interactions, performance tuning)\nExperience building data visualizations using Plotly and/or ApexCharts\nSolid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG)\nExperience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs\nStrong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills\nNice to Have\nExperience with Next.js or similar React frameworks\nFamiliarity with geospatial concepts (GeoJSON, projections, tilesets)\nExperience working with large or real-time datasets\nKnowledge of front-end testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)\nExperience in data, analytics, mapping, or visualization-heavy products\nPrior experience leading projects or acting as a technical owner\nCompensation\nLocation: Jacksonville, FL
