The Assistant Inventory Planner collaborates with the Associate Inventory Planner and the Senior Inventory Planner to execute day-to-day tasks that contribute to optimizing warehouse space and reducing obsolete inventory.\nRole Responsibilities\nInventory Tracking: Assist in tracking and documenting slow-moving or obsolete inventory for sell-off.\nStrategy Execution: Support the Associate Inventory Planner in executing sell-off strategies by maintaining organized records and updating inventory reports.\nFulfillment Optimization: Help identify and flag inventory movement bottlenecks and communicate issues to the team.\nData Analysis: Perform data entry and basic analysis to support forecasting efforts for inventory sell-off.\nReporting: Assist in maintaining accurate reporting tools to track inventory flow and sell-off performance.\nCommunication: Communicate inventory updates and status changes to cross-functional teams as needed.\nOperational Support: Provide general administrative support to the Inventory Planning team, including organizing reports, scheduling meetings, and tracking key tasks.\nRole Qualifications\nExperience: Background in inventory management, logistics, or a related field is a plus but not required.\nAnalytical Skills: Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn demand planning and inventory flow principles.\nCollaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nCommunication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.\nWork Style: Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.\n Software & Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other inventory tracking tools is a plus.\nThe Perks\nURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
