With a wealth of experience in various Material Handling Equipment (MHE) automation methods including cross belt units, shipping sorters, high-density wave/tote buffers, and the pack-to-wall packing method, they bring invaluable expertise to streamline operations.\nAvailable Department: Inspections & Plant\nShift Availability:\nSunday - Wednesday; 5:30PM - 4:00AMWednesday - Saturday; 5:30PM - 4:00AM\nRole Responsibilities\nEnsure customer satisfaction by delivering the right products on time to meet customer needs daily while collaborating with support teams to enhance current processes and company initiatives.\nCollaborate with management and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.\nCultivate effective working relationships across all organizational levels using excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMentor and guide supervisors, leads, and employees, fostering their professional growth and development.\nEstablish clear performance standards and recognize outstanding performance accordingly.\nImplement progressive disciplinary measures when necessary, in collaboration with department supervisors.\nAct as a liaison between associates and senior management, addressing concerns and communicating effectively with HR when needed.\nIndividuals must be motivated team players with a positive attitude and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nIdentify and address preventive maintenance and safety issues proactively.\nEnsure compliance with Loss Prevention (LP) protocols.\nLead or participate in startup meetings to align team objectives.\nConduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards and accuracy.\nCross-train associates across departments to enhance operational versatility.\nProvide necessary equipment and supplies to support staff in their roles.\nLabor share and support other departments as required or (needed) by the business.\nFulfill any other duties as assigned.\nRole Qualifications\nCollege degree in Logistics, Business, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.\n3 to 5 years of post-college experience in a direct-to-consumer fulfillment environment. \nProficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Manhattan and Order Management Systems (OMS)\nExtensive experience in various departments, including leadership roles.\nProficient in leading teams to achieve departmental goals.\nDemonstrated capability in handling additional project/scope work beyond individual departmental responsibilities.\nStrong focus on evaluating the impact on departmental performance, shift efficiency, and overall building operations.\nProven track record of spearheading projects outside of the assigned department, contributing to positive business outcomes.\nSkilled in developing personnel and fostering talent growth through succession planning initiatives.\nMaintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required \nComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards \nPhysical Requirements \nStand and walk throughout a shift \nClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods \nReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds \nOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements\nThe Perks\nURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
