They actively participate in HR team and line leaders’ development, HR projects, and new initiatives to uphold clear communication, proper planning, and timely action, thus contributing to URBN's reputation as an employer of choice. As a member of the Global Supply Chain HR team, they focus on enhancing efficiency through tools and analysis in alignment with our core values.\nSchedule: Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)\nRole Responsibilities\nSupports and in some instances leads the development of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.\nLeads the development of the HR team including but is not limited to benefits, leaves, compensation, performance, talent management, recognition, OSHA, workers compensation, and training & development, and employee relations including disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.\nEnsures compliance with all training requirements, including safety and anti-harassment training, by reviewing, tracking, and documenting completion.\nCollaborates with SC talent acquisition and functional leaders to comprehend required skills to align on recruitment and onboarding processes, including supporting the selections within designated areas.\nSupports current and future programs designed for development, engagement, motivation, and retention primarily at a line manager and associate level.\nSupports HR function with research, project support, reporting/analytics, and championing HR initiatives.\nWorks closely with line leaders to develop and implement HR priorities and plans, focusing on areas such as talent management, leadership development, performance, career development, and early career initiatives for clarity and effective execution.\nBuild cross-functional and cross-organizational partnerships with HR and develop employee engagement activities that help elevate and build company culture.\nConducts new hire orientation and actively participates in the onboarding process in partnership with operational leaders.\nAssist with payroll and ensure compliance, audit payroll records, validate employee and company information is accurate.\nHandles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.\nFunctional expert on site. Contribute to the development of the group. Support communication and information flow through the site.\nCoach, support, and develop the local function Managers, Supervisors, and associates.\nProvides partnership, tools, and training for leaders related to disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.\nMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.\nMaintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, employment law, and new technologies.\nRole Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.\n3 - 5 years of direct human resource generalist experience.\nSHRM-CP a plus.\nBi-lingual (English-Spanish) a plus.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.\nHigh ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.\nThorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.\nComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.\nThe Perks\nURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
