They oversee a team of skilled technicians, utilizing CMMS to streamline repair and maintenance processes. They embrace new challenges, maintain attention to detail, and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.\nSchedule: RFC D582 (Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm)\nRole Responsibilities\nPlan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance.\nEstablish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.\nParticipate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.\nParticipate in the preparation and administration of the facility maintenance budget; submit budget recommendations; monitor expenditures; prepare cost estimates; submit justifications for equipment; monitor budget expenditures.\nMonitor and control supplies and equipment; order supplies and tools as necessary; prepare documents for equipment procurement; prepare specifications and contracts for contract services.\nTrain or coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods, procedures, and techniques.\nDevelop and organize preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for all facilities and equipment.\nCoordinate construction projects, remodels, and other special projects.\nAssist in the preparation of various contracts, requests for proposals, and reports.\nCoordinate with contractors in providing contract services.\nEnforces sound safety and housekeeping practices.\nPerform related duties as required.\nBe available for emergency callbacks and flexible toward the daily start schedule and overtime requirements, including holidays and facility shutdowns\nRole Qualifications\nMust be 18 years or older\nHigh school degree or GED is preferred\nMinimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible facility maintenance experience with lead supervisory experience \nTrade skills in one or more of the following: welding, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, instrumentation, forklifts, building construction, conveyor. \nAbility to interpret and understand maintenance manuals and electrical equipment blueprints \nKnowledge and experience in industrial electrical and equipment mechanics \nMaintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required \nComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.\nPhysical Requirements:\nStand and walk throughout a shift\nClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods\nReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds\nOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts, motorized heavy equipment ) which requires coordinated movements\nThe Perks\nURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
