Their main responsibility is to train and develop all hourly employees, both at the beginning and on an ongoing basis. As motivated team players with a positive attitude, they possess excellent communication skills and always show respect towards others.\nShift: Wednesday - Saturday; 6:00am-4:30pm\nRole Responsibilities\nProvide training for individual or group settings to new hires as well as tenured employees.\nPossess excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.\nAssist with new hire orientation, onboarding processes, and safety compliance.\nMonitor and report on training, productivity, and accuracy of new hires.\nEnsure new hire, re-training, and cross-training are completed per SOPs and work instructions.\nDeliver PIT certifications and evaluations.\nUphold a respectful workplace environment while encouraging team collaboration.\nSupport all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.\nAble to operate department-specific technology to execute and train on job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens.\nSupport all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.\nRole Qualifications\nMust be 18 years or older\nHigh school degree or GED a plus\nPossess time management and organizational skills\nWorking knowledge of warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker)\nAble to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment\nAble to work with minimal supervision\nAble to keep confidential information private\nBi-lingual preferred\nMaintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required \nComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards\nPhysical Requirements\nStand and walk throughout a shift \nClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods \nReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds \nOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements. \nThe Perks\nURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
