The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for automotive technology, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the technical skills needed to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards. This role offers the opportunity to work with a prestigious luxury automotive brand while being part of a team dedicated to professionalism, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and excellence in automotive service.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nPerforms work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.\nOperating dealership-owned and customer-owned vehicles safely.\nProviding accurate and trustworthy diagnoses and repairs to maintain customer trust.\nCommunicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.\nSave and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.\nExamines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.\nCommunicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.\nDocuments all work performed and recommendations on the repair order.\nRoad tests vehicles.\nParticipates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.\nKeeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.\nUsing and maintaining expensive tools and equipment.\nInspects and tests drive newly delivered vehicles for obvious damage and missing major components and drivability functions \nKeeps the shop area neat and clean.\nMaintains and holds accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
