In this role, you will partner closely with customers, Global Sales, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, and Product Management teams to drive successful product implementation, enhance customer capabilities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and deliver technical training programs covering fiber optic connectors, assembly processes, termination equipment, inspection methods, optical testing, and manufacturing best practices\nConduct instructor-led certification programs, including multi-day classroom and hands-on training sessions at US Conec facilities and customer locations\nTranslate complex technical concepts into practical, easy-to-understand instruction for operators, technicians, engineers, managers, and other technical audiences\nProvide remote and on-site technical support for customers, partners, and the Global Sales organization related to products, applications, manufacturing processes, and performance\nSupport customer product launches and implementation activities through training, process optimization, troubleshooting, and technical consultation\nInvestigate manufacturing and product performance issues using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis methodologies\nAnalyze technical data, including optical test results, inspection findings, and process performance metrics, to identify and resolve issues\nBuild and maintain expertise in fiber optic connector termination processes, including fiber preparation, adhesive application, curing, cleaving, polishing, inspection, and testing\nDevelop working knowledge of termination equipment, tooling, and related manufacturing technologies used with US Conec products\nCreate and maintain training materials, certification content, technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, demonstrations, and customer-facing resources\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Product Management, and Sales teams to address complex customer issues and improve technical support effectiveness\nCapture and communicate Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights, including customer feedback, recurring challenges, emerging requirements, and product improvement opportunities\nSupport new product introductions by developing training programs and technical resources that enable successful customer adoption\nTrack and document customer support activities, training outcomes, and significant technical findings\nPromote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, customer focus, and adherence to US Conec’s core values\nTravel domestically and internationally to support customer training, technical support, and implementation activities\nMust Haves\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline\nStrong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply complex manufacturing and engineering concepts\nExperience delivering technical training, customer support, field applications engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related technical functions\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse technical audiences\nAbility to effectively communicate complex information in a clear, practical, and customer-focused manner\nExperience troubleshooting technical and manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships with customers and cross-functional teams\nAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating across technical and commercial organizations\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams\nWillingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally\nNice to Haves\nExperience in fiber optics, optical connectivity, connector technology, or cable assembly manufacturing\nKnowledge of fiber optic connector termination, inspection, testing, and manufacturing processes\nExperience working in precision manufacturing or high-technology production environments\nFamiliarity with optical test equipment, including insertion loss and return loss measurement systems\nExperience developing certification programs, technical curriculum, or customer training materials\nKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and quality systems\nExperience supporting new product introductions and customer implementation activities\nExposure to data analysis tools and technical reporting methods\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary with performance-based bonus potential\n4 weeks of PTO plus paid holidays\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage\n401(k) with employer match\nA collaborative culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement\nOpportunities for career growth within a global technology leader\nUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
