This role works closely with customers, Product Management, Engineering, and industry stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities, influence product development, and position US Conec solutions for long-term success.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including end users, active equipment manufacturers, system vendors, and transceiver manufacturers\nCreate and execute business development strategies that support revenue growth and align with company objectives\nIdentify new product, application, and market opportunities through an understanding of customer technology roadmaps and future business needs\nServe as a trusted advisor to customers by aligning US Conec solutions with technical and business requirements\nDrive design-in opportunities by promoting US Conec technologies, products, and capabilities within customer organizations\nPrepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and customer-facing content tailored to specific business and application needs\nPartner with Product Management and Engineering teams to define product requirements and support new technology development initiatives\nLead assigned business development and new application programs, ensuring achievement of business goals, timelines, and deliverables\nAnalyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities to help establish business development priorities\nRepresent US Conec at industry conferences, trade shows, technical forums, and customer meetings\nProvide market feedback and customer insights to support strategic planning and product roadmap decisions\nManage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction\nMust Haves\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or another technical discipline\nProven experience in business development, technical sales, product strategy, or a related commercial role\nStrong knowledge of optical communications, data center infrastructure, enterprise networking, or related technology markets\nAbility to understand, translate, and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences\nExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities\nExperience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite\nWillingness and ability to travel 25% or more\nNice to Haves\nWorking knowledge of fiber optic technologies, optical cabling systems, connectors, and connectivity hardware\nExperience with data center design, deployment, or infrastructure planning\nUnderstanding of optical communications network architectures and emerging industry technologies\nExperience influencing product development through customer and market insights\nParticipation in industry organizations, standards groups, conferences, or technical forums\nMBA or advanced technical degree\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary with performance-based bonus potential\n4 weeks of PTO plus paid holidays\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage\n401(k) with employer match\nA collaborative culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement\nOpportunities for career growth within a global technology leader\nUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
