This role partners closely with engineering, product development, metrology technicians, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate measurement processes, data analysis, and reporting that drive product quality and process performance.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize metrology programs, software tools, fixtures, accessories, and measurement processes to support new and existing products\nGain and apply expert knowledge of US Conec’s metrology equipment and measurement technologies\nInterpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure measurements accurately reflect design intent\nCreate, validate, and maintain measurement programs, procedures, and best practices across the metrology function\nSupport mold monitoring and process improvement initiatives by providing accurate measurement data and feedback to manufacturing teams\nCollaborate with metrology technicians and engineering teams to plan, execute, and evaluate experiments and validation activities\nRespond to internal measurement requests and communicate results through clear, timely, and actionable reports\nAnalyze measurement data using statistical methods and software tools to identify trends, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement\nGenerate charts, graphs, presentations, and technical reports using tools such as Excel, Minitab, MATLAB, and other data analysis platforms\nDesign and support metrology-related fixtures, tooling, and CAD-based solutions as needed\nMaintain an organized, efficient, and compliant metrology laboratory environment\nSpend at least 50% of the work week onsite supporting metrology operations, equipment, technicians, and collaborative engineering activities\nMust Haves\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline\nStrong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and dimensional measurement concepts\nWorking knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation\nExperience planning tests, collecting data, and analyzing results\nFamiliarity with statistical analysis methods and quality data evaluation\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly\nExperience using Microsoft Excel and other technical software tools for data analysis and reporting\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment\nExperience working with precision measurement equipment in a laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering setting\nNice to Haves\nExperience with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), multi-sensor metrology systems, or optical measurement equipment\nFamiliarity with confocal microscopy, white light interferometry, CT scanning, SEM, AFM, or similar advanced metrology technologies\nExperience with Minitab, MATLAB, Python, or other programming and data analysis tools\nExperience manipulating large datasets using Power Query or similar data management tools\nCAD design experience for fixture or tooling development\nTechnical Associate Degree in a related field\nExperience supporting manufacturing, molding, or process improvement environments\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential\n4 weeks of PTO for all new hires\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance plans to support you and your family\n401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match\nA collaborative, team-based culture focused on innovation and quality\nPaid holidays and employee recognition programs\nOpportunities to work with cutting-edge metrology tools and technologies\nSTEM outreach and community engagement initiatives\nUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
