This role serves as the primary subject matter expert, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing Communications, and key customers to drive growth, innovation, and market leadership.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the overall business performance and profitability (P&L) of assigned product lines\nServe as the primary subject matter expert for products, applications, technologies, and target markets\nDevelop and execute product line strategies that drive revenue growth, market share, and competitive differentiation\nEstablish and manage pricing strategies, including list pricing, contract pricing, and profitability objectives\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders\nSupport Account Managers in developing customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities across key accounts\nDevelop annual and long-range business plans aligned with company objectives and market opportunities\nAssess market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to identify new product and expansion opportunities\nDefine development priorities and collaborate with Engineering and Product Development teams to bring new products to market\nPartner with Operations and suppliers to optimize product costs, inventory levels, and supply chain performance\nManage product line budgets and expenses while achieving financial targets\nLead promotional strategies in collaboration with Marketing Communications, including product literature, website content, articles, press releases, and digital campaigns\nRepresent US Conec at industry events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements\nDevelop product-focused content and thought leadership that enhances US Conec’s industry presence\nProvide technical and commercial leadership across the organization to support strategic business objectives\nServe as the central point of contact for all technical, commercial, and financial matters related to assigned product lines\nMust Haves\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field\nExperience in fiber optics, fiber optic connectivity, cabling systems, or connector technologies\nKnowledge of outside plant (OSP) cabling infrastructure and broadband network deployments\nUnderstanding of carrier access networks and cabling solutions deployed in harsh environments\nStrong business acumen with experience managing product portfolios, pricing strategies, or product profitability\nExcellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills\nStrong verbal, written, and presentation skills\nAbility to influence and collaborate effectively across technical and commercial teams\nExperience conducting market analysis and competitive assessments\nWillingness and ability to travel 25% or more\nNice to Haves\nMaster of Business Administration (MBA)\nExperience managing product line P&L performance\nBackground working with telecommunications, broadband, data center, or network infrastructure markets\nExperience developing go-to-market strategies and product promotion plans\nParticipation in industry associations, trade shows, or technical speaking engagements\nExperience working with global customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams\nKnowledge of fiber optic network architecture and emerging connectivity technologies\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary with performance-based bonus potential\n4 weeks of PTO plus paid holidays\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage\n401(k) with employer match\nA collaborative culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement\nOpportunities for career growth within a global technology leader\nUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
