Must be able to travel to Sarasota at least once per week.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe RCM Business Analyst focuses on optimizing operational efficiency and financial performance, as well as executing strategic transformation initiatives throughout Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations. The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting RCM initiatives with duties including project management, analyzing areas for process improvement, training, and documenting step-by-step protocols. This will include collaborating with leadership in other areas to support project initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate will be involved with process reengineering, digital enablement, automation, and performance transformation focused on improving AR metrics such as DSO, denial rates, and collections.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nProcess Analysis & Improvement\noIdentifying areas for improvement in RCM processes, implementing changes, and monitoring their impact. Evaluate critical process opportunities for improvement and propose tangible solutions to prevent recurring errors.\noGathering operational and workflow requirements to document, implement and monitor workflow processes. Identification of root cause(s) of workflow/process incident management.\noDeveloping, proposing, and organizing initiatives related to RCM process improvement\noCreation of designed and approved processes, enhancement of the automation of the technical workflows, and providing monitoring/stabilization of current business processes\noContinuous review of RCM workflows and processes\nDocumentation & Communication:\noCreating and maintaining documentation like protocols and process maps and communicating effectively with stakeholders.\no Document detailed technical design for workflow automation, end-user documentation, and job aids.\noTraining in new processes and protocols\noEffectively communicate and collaborate with leadership\nData Analysis:\noAnalyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in the RCM process.\noRunning and analyzing reporting as needed\nTechnology Support:\noMonitoring new workflows and processes to ensure success\noPractice management maintenance related to RCM\noCreate and support workflow tools such as Smartsheet\nProject Management & Support:\noLeading or assisting with RCM transformation initiatives, such as implementing new systems, redesigning workflows, and optimizing technology.\noCreating and executing project management plans\noDefining scopes for revenue cycle and/or company initiatives\noSetting and tracking project objectives\noEnsuring all project deliverables are completed and formally closed\noCommunicating project timelines and milestones\noMonitoring project progress and assist with setting deadlines\noPresenting status updates\noComplete special projects and provide project support as requested by senior leadership.\noOther duties as assigned\nCOMPETENCIES:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated organizational skills with the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to act with integrity and professionalism and to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.\nProficient in using organizational billing systems.\nAttention to detail.\nFlexible to the needs of the department and organization.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe work characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
