With 50 clinics and 5 surgery centers, led by 95 providers and more than 1,000 team members system wide, we deliver world class care to patients throughout Florida, the Carolinas and Virginia.\nEssential Job Functions:\nOversee clinical operations and clinical support staff of assigned practice(s)\nEnsure smooth efficient operations and communication with providers, support associates and patients,\nas well as corporate departments and market leadership\nMonitor performance of clinical team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, optimal patient flow and patient\nsatisfaction\nCoordinate and/or facilitate training of technicians; conduct skill set assessments on all techs upon hire\nand as scheduled/required throughout the year\nOversight of clinical support staff hours/lunch/breaks and within scheduled hours\nMonitor all role responsibilities of direct reports.\nEnsure excellent customer service; ensure clinical staff is delivering timely check in/out (visit flow),\nappropriate medical support, care and testing, excellent in person and via phone customer service.\nWork with management teams to develop and assist with training needs as they arise.\nOversee and ensure applicable training for all clinical support associates based on roles\nRandom auditing of performance in EMR to identify training needs\nEnsure associates model and follow all customer service skills, ophthalmic testing, insurance verification\nand prior authorizations, and appropriate surgical and follow up appointment scheduling\nTeam Building\nCoordinate position need job postings, Interview/Hire as needed\nPerformance Reviews/Performance Plans for direct reports outlined above\nOversee appropriate work performance issues - discipline documentation\nLiaison to patients and providers to ensure overall patient satisfaction\nHandle staff and patient complaints\nCoordinate and schedule on site vendors, repairs, and all aspects of the physical buildings for day-to-day\noperations in conjunction with the Senior/Regional Director of Operation\nEnsure safety training and policies are followed.\nEnsure all staff are trained in HIPAA and enforce HIPAA regulatory requirements\nAll other responsibilities that may be assigned\nCompetencies:\nLeadership and management skills that supports high patient experience standards and the development of the team.\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions.\nCapable of maintaining high degree of confidentiality. \nStrong time management skills that support high performance environment.\nAbility to maintain a professional, respectful and courteous work environment.\nEducation and Experience:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business, healthcare administration or related fields (preferred).\nHigh school graduate, with previous work experience in project management, leadership in healthcare administration, business or related field, or previous equivalent experience in a medical practice.\nTechnology savvy, with competency in Office Suite and ability to learn software applications as required.\nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position located in Ft.
