If so we want to hear from you! An Optical Technician with US Eye is an exciting opportunity to learn on the job in an industry that combines the love of retail and medical devices. Detail oriented, able to multi-task and customer service skills are a must! \nEssential Job Functions:\nListen and address needs of patients as evidenced by company standards and policies.\nAnswer the phones, and communicate patient’s needs to the Opticians and Optical Technicians.\nEfficiently take orders for contact lenses, create contact lens encounters and order lenses from ABB or other supplier.\nNavigate insurance websites to assist patients with the available benefits and cost associated with their plan.\nSell and create encounters for accessories.\nLearn the lensometer.\nOversee Frame Inventory.\nCompetencies:\nDemonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.\nMust be able to maintain high degree of confidentiality.\nAbility to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and manage time accordingly in order to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.\nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position based in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
