With 50 clinics and five surgery centers, led by 95 providers and over 1,000 team members system-wide, we deliver world-class care to patients throughout Florida, the Carolina's, and Virginia.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe Physician Relations Coordinator is a first-line contact in maintaining relationships with referring providers and ensuring timely processing of referrals to our clinics.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (other duties as required):\nProvider and Patient Satisfaction:\nResponds to external referrals in a timely manner, ensuring patients are scheduled appropriately.\nCoordinates receipt of records from the referring provider for transition of care\nMaintains tracking for appropriate monitoring of patient pathway\nEnsures high provider satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.\nUnderstands and executes the co-management process when applicable.\nResponds professionally to both written and telecommunications.\nDemonstrates ability to coordinate with others.\nResponds in a timely fashion to inquiries from other colleagues within the organization.\nEducates referring providers through telecommunication or on-site visits\nTeam Interaction & Self Development\nFosters a positive and collaborative team environment.\nAssists with optimizing processes.\nProfessionally communicates with the team.\nParticipates in team training opportunities.\nQUALITY AND COMPLIANCE:\nProduces work within the quality assurance standard.\nMeets the productivity standard.\nMaintains up-to-date knowledge of protocols and best practices.\nFollows all documented protocols.\nMaintains privacy and confidentiality standards and regulations.\nCOMPETENCIES:\nInnovative, results-oriented, and high-energy professional with a track record of success.\nStrong work ethic, hands-on individual who can work with staff to provide the best possible patient experience.\nDemonstrates a high sense of urgency and accuracy and can handle multiple priorities and time demands.\nExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.\nAbility to interact and communicate effectively with providers, management, patients, and peers.\nDemonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.\nAbility to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage time accordingly to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nThe work characteristics described here represent those an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of this fast-paced, deadline-oriented, confidential role.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nExtended Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while on the phone, often for the duration of the shift.\nComputer Use: Constant computer use, including frequent typing, mouse use, and screen navigation.\nHeadset Use: Continuous headset use for listening and speaking may put pressure on the ears and head.\nVisual Focus: A sustained focus on a computer screen requires good eyesight or corrective measures.\nRepetitive Movements: Frequent, repetitive actions such as typing and dialing phone numbers.\nSpeech and Hearing: Clear speaking and active listening skills can be tiring, especially for long stretches.\nLimited Physical Movement: Restricted ability to move freely may require stretching during breaks.\nManual Dexterity: Hand and finger dexterity for effectively typing and handling office equipment.\nStress Tolerance: Ability to manage physical stress responses associated with high call volumes and possible complicated interactions.\nLifting 40+ pounds\nKneeling, stooping, bending\nDriving to and from referring provider offices\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nPOSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:\nThis is a full-time position, located in University Park, FL.\nDays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. -
