Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.\nSummary:\nThe Cycle Counter is responsible for supporting inventory accuracy initiatives including cycle counting investigation root cause analysis and reconciliation.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nTrack materials for engineering changes and balance outs to ensure minimal obsolescence\nResponsible for scheduled cycle counting of raw material, components, and finished goods\nAssist in plant organization to determine and label locations for raw material, components, and packaging.\nAssist as required in plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.\nAttend APQP meeting and kick off meetings for new jobs.\nEDI, E-mail, or fax release orders to vendors.\nSupports plant annual physical inventory activity\nInvestigate and adjust negative inventories daily\nPerform all duties as requested by the Materials Manager.\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)\nComply with of all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.\nQualifications:\nAssociate’s degree (A.k) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAPICS Certification C.P.I.M preferred\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. \nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. \nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
