This position will also lead safety and environmental compliance for the hourly maintenance staff\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nUpdate PMs in coordination with Maintenance Technicians to ensure accuracy and the highest probability of identifying issues and preventing unplanned downtime.\nIdentify all work orders that require formal planning.Decide if a field check is required.\nPerform field checks when necessary.\nRetrieve existing job plans if available or develop job steps and sequences for new work.\n\nReview work orders to identify special service requirements and material requirements.Work with the purchasing department and enter materials requests.\n\nIdentify work orders that require permits.\nIdentify repeating task opportunities, consolidate them, and enter them into Parts+ as tasks.\nReview all work orders and assign them to either the schedule or planned backlog.\nReview all job plans for accuracy and adjust as needed.\nAssist Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in prioritizing maintenance work.\nCreate a weekly maintenance work schedule.\nAlign with Operations Manager, Facilities Manager, and Maintenance Supervisor on weekly top priorities.\nConduct “after-M” feedback on discoveries found during PMs and corrective work orders generated.\nEnsure scheduled work orders and OEM PMs are properly kitted.\nUpdate asset information in Parts+ as needed.\nTrack and report PM compliance.\nTrack and report weekly schedule compliance.\nSupport Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory optimization, procurement, efficiency, and maintenance reliability.\nEnsure compliance with IATF 16949, OSHA, and company safety requirements.\nManage and maintain relationships with MRO vendors and service providers.\nProcess parts and material requisitions from Maintenance Technicians in a timely and accurate manner.\nSource, quote, and purchase maintenance parts, supplies, and services in accordance with company purchasing policies.\nTrack MRO spending and ensure alignment with the monthly maintenance budget.\nIdentify cost-savings opportunities through vendor consolidation, alternative sourcing, and negotiated pricing.\nManage spare parts inventory, stocked, and maintained to minimize equipment downtime.\nMaintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and vendor records within Parts+.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory optimization, procurement, efficiency, and maintenance reliability.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nCandidates need not necessarily posses all the following qualifications but will be considered based on the following:\n Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability, or supervision.\nExperience with CMMS/EAM systems such as Parts+, SAP, Maximo, Fiix, MP2, or similar computerized maintenance management software.\nStrong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, including PM optimization, job planning, and work order management.\nAbility to read and interpret technical documentation, including equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and OEM specifications.\nExperience planning maintenance work for industrial equipment, including identifying labor, materials, tools, permits, contractors, and safety requirements.\nWorking knowledge of maintenance storeroom and spare parts management, including material requisitioning, kitting, and coordination with purchasing departments.\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate effectively between maintenance, operations, engineering, purchasing, and safety teams.\nCommitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance, including knowledge of LOTO, confined space, hot work permits, and other industrial safety practices.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for tracking KPIs such as PM compliance, schedule compliance, backlog management, and maintenance reporting.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
