Following all procedures and work instructions, achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety assuring internal and external customer satisfaction.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMachine Operation:\nOperate molding press/equipment per company procedures\nPerform any assembly required either manually or utilizing specialized equipment.\nProcess Management:\nReview “Operator Display/Job Board” prior to running production for work instructions and Quality Alerts\nDe-gate parts, as required at molding machine using specified equipment.\nPackage parts into required containers (i.e., corrugated boxes, returnables)\nQuality Control:\nAssure Product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances\nDaily review of all applicable quality alerts\nCorrect application of all internal and external labels when required, including removal of all old labels from returnable packaging\nImmediate notification to Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks (i.e. Sample boards, inspection instructions, SPC etc.)\nDocumentation and Communication:\nCorrectly record scarp every hour per work instructions\nCorrect application of lot control numbers\nEnsure that all non-conforming product is placed in a red bin for disposition or disposal.\nPerform sorting and EPC (Early Product Containment) tasks as required with the completion of proper documentation.\nCommunicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates during communication/shift meetings\nParticipate in team problem solving activities (i.e. 8D’s, communication/shift meetings, etc.)\nHousekeeping:\nKeep work area clean and organized\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.\nSafety:\nResponsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures\nAdherence to all company policies and procedures\nAdditional Duties:\nAny other duties assigned by the reporting Supervisor and/or Manager\nQualifications:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations with American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
