We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized compression technologies.\nRESPONSIBLITIES:\nAcquire layouts, testing, etc. on parts for PPAP, problem solving, etc.\nPerform and maintain Layered Process Audit system\nParticipate in cross-functional teams in the pursuit of problem solving and mistake proofing quality issues\nAssist in part audits and sort operations as required\nAssist in the creation and maintenance of job boards\nServe as main point of contact for the containment area\nPrioritize all sorting activity to assure shipments are not missed\nAssure all quality alters are being for sorted products\nNotify Quality Auditors on completed products for re-inspection\nTrack inventories of all hold products to assure hold inventory accuracy\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e. quality policy manual, employee handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)\nComply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas\nSupervise the hourly Quality Team (Quality Auditors) regarding performance, quality, discipline, time keeping, etc.\nWork closely with the Quality manager to track and report on daily quality related issues that occur on the production floor\nComplete Daily Data Card (Quality) for sorting, hold inventory, hours sorted, and dollars on hold\nReviews material certifications for each received lot number\nAssists with supplier issues while teaming with Quality Engineers\nIssues SPSR’s when required\nParticipate/train new hires in weekly orientation\nSupport/assist with maintaining quality documentation\nPerform and maintain calibration for QC Lab Equipment, including checking fixtures and scales\nContain internal suspect stock\nPerform other duties as requested/assigned by Quality Manager or upper management\nREQUIREMENTS:\n4+ years of experience in quality\n2+ years of quality supervisory experience\nPrevious experience in plastic injection molding environment preferred\nCapable of performing gage R&R and capability studies\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
