Manager.\nTroubleshoot issues on new and existing processes.\nDevelop a measurement tool to ensure output equates to staffing.\nAvailable to provide support to all three shifts.\nOversee and adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, employee handbook)\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.\nCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s plans, policies and applicable laws.\nTrain employees\nPlan, assign and direct work.\nAppraise performance of direct reports.\nAddress complaints and resolve problems within the tooling department and use the company progressive discipline procedure to address employee issues of direct reports.\nTroubleshoot and repair molds, providing guidance (being hands on)\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of tooling experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably plastics or automotive)\n3+ years supervisory experience in a tooling environment.\nMust have excellent technical and mechanical aptitude.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
