Check out our Benefits by clicking on the linkHealth Plan Identifier (https://benefitspricing.com/usfoods)\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nConduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.\nEnsure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.\nVerify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.\nLoad trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.\nFollow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.\nSUPERVISION\nRELATIONSHIPS\nInternal: Selectors, Leads/Supervisors, and Drivers\nExternal:\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.\nRelated Experience: A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be pallet jack certified; Good attention to detail; Ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nComfortable working in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required\nCompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law . The expected base rate for this role is at $23.69/hour.
