Get all the detailshere.\nNon-CDL Driver - Position Overview\nWe are seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of up to 14,900 lbs. You will make multi-stop deliveries of foodservice products, ensuring a high level of service for our customers.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.\nUnloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas - 100% touch freight.\nProduct Handling: Use a hand truck to move products into customer locations, navigating stairs and various delivery environments as required.\nDelivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.\nReturn Management: Properly document and manage any returned products.\nIssue Reporting: Communicate any delivery or customer issues to the appropriate personnel, including Customer Service and your supervisor.\nEquipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.\nAccount Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.\nAdaptability: All other duties assigned by management.\nPhysical Requirements\nLift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.\nDriving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.\nComfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.\nContinuously grasp objects & manipulate objects. Frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity.\nQualifications\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.\nValid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.\nNo commercial or professional driving experience required. One-year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six-months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.\nHand cart delivery experience preferred.\nMust be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.\nBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required.\nMust be able to pass DOT Physical.\nAbout US FOODS®\nClick here to learn more!\n*Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation.
