This includes researching reasons for inventory discrepancies, directing product rotation and outside storage, and quality control, as well as coordinating all recalls and HCAAP Plan requirements.Implements and maintains policy and procedures relating to inventory control. This includes ensuring the accuracy of warehouse inventory, analyzing poor product rotation and maintaining the storage locator system. Where applicable, coordinates outside storage for movement to inside storage.\nInvestigates inventory issues such as non-branded quality control complaints, sales and customer product complaints and reasons for out of date product.\nAuthorizes and any all adjustments made to inventory.\nMay assist in the compliance with HACCP and other government policies.\nAudits receiving and stocking procedures to ensure that policies are followed.\nResponsible for associate development through training on policy & procedures.\nCreates a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open.\nReviews daily inventory discrepancy reports.\nEducation/Training:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree with management/marketing background preferred.\nRelated Experience:\nA minimum of three years in inventory control, warehousing, sales & product knowledge required.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nHACCP compliant training and strong understanding of inventory control procedures. Must understand process of distribution. Must understand customer billing and credit process Basic computer skills.
