PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITE\nJoin Our Community of Food People!\nThe Warehouse Coordinator will perform activities that support inbound, outbound, and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight and proper distribution of warehouse items. Activities include data entry, preparation and distribution of reports, and record maintenance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDuties may include but are not limited to general warehouse, inbound and/or outbound functions. Duties may vary depending on shift.\nGeneral warehouse:\nSupport in training and developing junior teammates.\nEnsure optimal warehouse operations by preparing and processing routine forms, reports, and documents (inbound documents, outbound documents, discrepancy reports, stock and damage claims, time sheets, requisitions, shipping labels, etc.) following standard procedures.\nCommunicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs. Respond to inquiries and telephone calls. Respond to requests by researching information.\nCollect, track, and input data on relevant operations metrics to support tracking warehouse performance, including shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service level, associate over-time.\nOther duties as assigned by manager. Outbound:\nSupport warehouse functions by checking returns and credit slips and assembling returned orders for proper return to picking slot. Investigate picking errors and find missing products.\nInteract with warehouse personnel to solve selecting and shipping issues.\nComplete outbound paperwork and reports including documents for selecting crew, route loading, drivers, and trucks received at night; Update the master storage report. RELATIONSHIPS\nInternal: The incumbent is required to interact with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels of responsibility throughout the company in a professional manner.\nExternal: Carriers, vendors WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe work will require work in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees with some occasional desk work in an office environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Related Experience/Requirements:\nTwo years production, manufacturing or warehouse experience required, preferably in a food environment. \nMinimum of one year of clerical experience. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: \nEffective communication both verbally and in writing.\nExcellent telephone and customer service ability.\nStrong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.\nBasic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.\nProblem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.\nStrong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division. Education\nHigh school diploma or GED/equivalent required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nGood computer skills, report generation; data entry and word processing skills.\nReasonably able to resolve a variety of issues/topics of fairly routine nature with some independence.
