Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE\nEducation/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.\nRelated Experience: A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Pallet jack experience; Good attention to detail; Ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.\nMAIN INGREDIENTS\nGreat Loaders are crucial to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our loaders strive for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with our team.\nConduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.\nEnsure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.\nVerify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.\nLoad trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.\nFollow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.\nCompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $22.05/hour and $22.05/hour.\nAs applicable, this role will also receive: overtime compensation, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, and Freezer premium.\nBenefits for this role may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
