technical leadership while remaining hands-on in the design, development, and support of applications, APIs, and integrations supporting US LBM’s pricing operations.\n\nThis role focuses on technology used to manage and execute pricing across our wholesale and distribution business, including pricing engines, price management, customer-specific and contract pricing, discounting, quoting, margin management, and integrations with ERP, order management, sales, and customer-facing applications.\n\nWorking closely with Product Managers, Architects, Pricing, Sales, Finance, and business leaders, this individual will translate complex pricing requirements into scalable, reliable technology solutions.\n\nThe ideal candidate brings strong full-stack engineering experience, relevant pricing systems domain knowledge, and the ability to mentor engineers, guide technical decisions, and improve pricing accuracy, efficiency, and business performance.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, and integrations supporting pricing, quoting, and commercial operations.\n\nRemain hands-on in complex development while providing technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, and engineering guidance.\n\nPartner with Product Managers, Architects, Pricing, Sales, Finance, and business stakeholders to translate pricing needs into scalable solutions.\n\nApply domain expertise across pricing engines, price calculation, customer-specific and contract pricing, discounting, promotions, margin controls, quoting, and pricing optimization.\n\nLead technical design decisions to ensure applications are scalable, secure, reliable, and capable of supporting complex pricing environments.\n\nGuide engineering delivery, managing technical priorities, risks, dependencies, and production readiness.\n\nEstablish reusable engineering patterns, APIs, integration standards, and CI/CD practices across pricing platforms.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve pricing workflows through automation, AI, analytics, and modern application development.\n\nChampion AI-assisted development practices, including specification-driven development, automated testing, and AI-supported code reviews.\n\nSupport integrations between pricing systems and ERP, order management, product/catalog, CRM, e-commerce, and third-party platforms.\n\nTroubleshoot complex production issues involving pricing rules, calculations, data synchronization, integrations, and distributed systems while ensuring data accuracy.\n\nCollaborate company policies and standards.\n\nAdhere to workplace safety requirements.\n\nEducation QualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n\nExperience Qualifications\n5+ years developing and delivering custom web, mobile, enterprise, or integration solutions.\n\n4+ years of full-stack software development experience.\n\nDemonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, architecture decisions, and delivery ownership.\n\nStrong hands-on experience developing applications within Microsoft Azure.\n\nExperience developing or supporting pricing engines, price management systems, pricing rules, quoting, discounting, contract pricing, margin management, or pricing optimization applications.\n\nExperience with retail, wholesale, distribution, B2B pricing, CPQ solutions, or related enterprise pricing platforms strongly preferred.\n\nExperience integrating pricing applications with ERP, order management, product/catalog, CRM, sales, or third-party systems.\n\nExperience partnering with Product Managers, Architects, commercial leaders, and business stakeholders.\n\nExperience with version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nSkills and Abilities\nAdvanced proficiency developing applications and serverless REST APIs using C#/.NET within Microsoft Azure.\n\nStrong experience with SQL, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.\n\nKnowledge of API design, integrations, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and modern application development.\n\nWorking knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools, including Terraform, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.\n\nUnderstanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nStrong understanding of pricing processes, including price calculations, pricing rules, contracts, discounts, rebates, margin controls, quoting, and pricing optimization.\n\nAbility to integrate pricing technology with ERP, inventory, product/catalog, order management, CRM, and customer-facing systems.\n\nAbility to communicate technical decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nAbility to align engineering priorities with business objectives and measurable operational outcomes.\n\nExperience with or interest in AI-assisted development and AI-first engineering practices.\n\nAbility to balance hands-on engineering, technical leadership, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement.\n\nTravel
