Athletic Trainer

Capstone Physical Therapy is a local therapist-owned outpatient private practice in Whatcom, Snohomish, and Skagit counties. We offer Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Our clinics offer specialty areas of practice including orthopedics, sports rehab, geriatric rehab, pelvic health, balance and vertigo, and work rehabilitation. Our clinicians are experts in therapy and many hold specialist certifications including OCS, GCS and CHT. We are an evidence-based practice that emphasizes skilled and specialty care therapy.

Capstone PT is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide medical coverage for our partner high school athletic programs.

In this role, you will be the primary healthcare provider on-site, serving between Capstone Physical Therapy and the local student-athlete community.

• Perform evaluations, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries.
• Provide reliable on-site coverage for athletic events/games.
• Work closely with Capstone PT physical therapists, team physicians, athletic directors, and coaches to manage seamless injury care and transition athletes back to play.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of injuries, treatments, and return-to-play clearances.

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
• Current Washington state Athletic Training license (or eligible to obtain).
• CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring adolescent athletes.
