We are growing and looking for a full-time apprentice door service technician with integrity and professionalism to join our Dixie Overhead Door team.\nWho You are:\nYou have great communication and strong customer service skills.\nYou work well with a team.\nYou have excellent work ethic and leadership skills.\nWhat You will be responsible for:\nAssist with completing installing and servicing of garage doors.\nProviding preventative maintenance and troubleshooting issues using appropriate equipment.\nUsing critical thinking and problem-solving skills during day-to-day operations.\nCompleting assigned work in a timely manner.\nBuilding and maintaining relationships with customers and team members.\nComplete additional task assigned by lead technician or manager.\nRequirements\nDemonstrate knowledge and skills of welding and stick welding preferred\n0-2 years of experience working with garage doors preferred\nYou must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small spaces.\nFamiliarity with maintenance tools and equipment including a tape measure required.\nYou must be able to skillfully work with hands and have good craftmanship.\nDemonstrate basic knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, repair of electrical systems, and equipment.\nValid driver's license\nAbility to pass a drug test, background check, driving record check, and physical fitness test.\nAuthorized to work in the United States.\nPassion for helping others.
