USAA roles may offer remote or hybrid flexibility for active-duty military spouses consistent with applicable policy and business needs.\nThe Opportunity\nAs a dedicated Business Rules Analyst Senior, you will gather and analyze internal business requirements through interviews, workflow analyses, and facilitated discussions with users. You will translate users' business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing, and implementation. You will apply methodologies and prepare detailed specifications and related documentation. You will assist business partners in identifying and documenting business rules. You will also ensure that rules and associated metadata are governed appropriately and stored within a single source of truth.\nWe offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nWhat you'll do:\nDesigns and modifies application rules and configurations to facilitate business user needs.\nServes as liaison to IT to ensure adequate execution of business user needs.\nServes as Subject Manager Expert for systems supported in business functions, to include researching data lineage and managing end-to-end data integration points for source to target of financial data.\nLeads teams on project management, system change management, business rules and analysis and development, product development, product maintenance, service delivery and changes to existing systems/applications.\nCoordinates and manages project enhancements to benefit business users.\nEnsures change control processes and procedures encompass and/or adhere to enterprise or industry guidelines or best practices.\nReviews post implementation documentation for lessons learned and recommends procedural or process updates for future initiatives.\nFacilitates and designs business testing to ensure adequate user performance across system supported.\nProvides subject matter expertise in development of creative solutions for business requirements or product offerings; advises on strategic and tactical solutions.\nWorks with LOBs, vendors, and other internal resources to define business requirements and coordinate system enhancements to achieve Function, Line of Business, and Association objectives.\nWhat you have:\nBachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.\n6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, and Financial Systems\n5+ years leading reporting transformation and automation initiatives within banking, insurance, or financial services organizations.\nDemonstrated success delivering process automation and reporting modernization initiatives.\nStrong working knowledge of:\nGAAP Financial Reporting\nStatutory (STAT) Reporting\nBank Regulatory Reporting (BRR)\nBank Holding Company (BHC) Reporting\nFinancial Controls and Audit Requirements\nRisk, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting Frameworks\nWhat sets you apart:\nUS military experience gained through military service or gained as a military spouse / domestic partner.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.\nProfessional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CPA, or CFA are highly desirable.\nExperience implementing reporting automation and workflow solutions.\nExperience with Oracle Fusion ERP General Ledger (GL), including financial close, accounting, and reporting processes.\nExperience using Snowflake for financial reporting, data analysis, data validation, and reporting automation.\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $93,770 - $179,240.\nUSAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
