USAA roles may offer remote or hybrid flexibility for active-duty military spouses consistent with applicable policy and business needs.\nThe Opportunity\nAs a dedicated Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level support to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and serve as a key partner within the Investment Portfolio Management organization. You will manage complex executive priorities, facilitate communications, coordinate strategic business activities, and anticipate needs to maximize leadership effectiveness. Through exceptional organization, discretion, and proactive problem-solving, you will help ensure the seamless execution of business objectives.\nWe offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week.\nThis position will be based in the San Antonio, TX office location.\nRelocation assistance is available for this position.\nWhat you'll do:\nProvide executive administrative support through the management of calendars, communications, priorities, and business activities. Partner with assigned Executive Management Group (EMG) member(s) to optimize use of time, navigate competing demands, and support the achievement of business objectives.\nPrepare and update presentations, correspondence, communications, and other materials on behalf of assigned EMG member(s). Ensure accuracy, adherence to USAA standards, and appropriate handling of confidential or sensitive information.\nMaintain awareness of organizational communications, leader messaging, and key deadlines. Support a positive team culture by coordinating employee connection points, including staff meetings, one-on-ones, skip-levels, and other engagement activities.\nCoordinate meetings and events by managing schedules, attendees, agendas, meeting materials, and logistics. Document meeting outcomes, action items, and follow-up activities to support effective execution.\nPartner with leaders to support onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions. Coordinate resource access, organizational updates, distribution lists, workspace logistics, and transition plans to promote a seamless employee experience.\nManage travel, expense reporting, office resources, and other administrative expenditures with a focus on budget stewardship, operational efficiency, and timely execution.\nMaintain filing systems, records, and key business documents. Generate reports and administrative materials requested by assigned EMG member(s).\nEnsure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.\nWhat you have:\nHigh School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).\n4 years of directly related experience providing administrative support to executives or leadership teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools, with demonstrated experience creating presentations, managing spreadsheets, and retrieving and analyzing data.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex calendars, coordinating multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of an organization.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.\nDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.\nWhat sets you apart:\nExperience supporting senior executives within an investment management, asset management, banking, financial services, or related organization.\nExperience serving as a trusted delegate for executive approvals, workflows, and administrative systems.\nDemonstrated ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and proactively resolve issues with minimal direction.\nProven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nExperience managing executive travel and expense reporting using Concur.\nAbility to deliver high-quality work with urgency and responsiveness while managing multiple competing priorities.\nExperience supporting military leaders, senior military officers, or executives in highly structured and mission-focused environments.\nDemonstrated resilience, professionalism, and composure when navigating challenging situations, competing demands, and constructive feedback.\nWillingness to provide occasional support outside of standard business hours to meet business needs.\nUS military experience gained through military service or gained as a military spouse / domestic partner.\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $63,590.00 - $121,530.00.\nUSAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
